Emergency eye care
Emergency eye care
Sudden vision loss, an injury, or severe eye pain should be seen the same day, not weeks later at a routine appointment. Our offices keep room for urgent eye problems, and both ophthalmologists and optometrists are on staff to handle them.
What's Involved
- Same-day assessment — A full examination of the front and back of the eye while the problem is still active.
- On-site imaging — OCT, retinal photography, and pressure testing available in the office.
- Escalation when needed — Direct coordination to surgical or retinal care if the problem calls for it.
When to Come In
- Sudden loss of vision — Any change that comes on over minutes or hours.
- Eye injury — Impact, chemical splash, or a penetrating injury.
- Severe pain with redness — Particularly alongside halos, nausea, or light sensitivity.
